Di is a qualified lawyer and has practised in Christchurch, Hamilton and Timaru. She now practises as a Mediator in her own right from offices in St Asaph Street in Christchurch.

Di has a particular interest in family and civil law, and is passionate about the long-term relationship benefits of Assisted Dispute Resolution. She lives in Christchurch with her husband and three children.

Di was a member of one of the original teams tasked with developing the government funded Family Dispute Resolution scheme in New Zealand.

Di has over five years experience as a lawyer in New Zealand and has also worked with the Department of Trade and Industry in the United Kingdom as an Investigator with the Insolvency Service, and as a Contract Lawyer with the Companies Investigations Branch of the Company Law and Investigations Directorate.
